Sourced from farms located in the south of Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul), it undergoes an innovative tanning process that does not involve chrome, heavy metals or dangerous acids. By simplifying the tanning process, the use of chemicals and energy is limited, water use is reduced by approximately 40% and salt use by 80%. After tanning, the water is recyclable.

The cowhide comes from farms in Uruguay, a country known for its livestock culture and the quality of its leather. It is tanned in Brazil, respecting REACH standards. Special attention is paid to the use of water during the tanning process.

The suede is made from the underside of cowhide that is previously brushed to make it softer and more flexible. It comes from farms in southern Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul). It is tanned in Brazil, respecting REACH standards. Special attention is paid to the use of water during the tanning process. The suede is also coated with PFC-free, water-repellent oils to protect the shoes from light rain.

Made in an artisan workshop located in an old coffee factory in Nicaragua. They are made solely and exclusively by hand, following a meticulous manufacturing process and under the Fair Trade system.
Made of polypropylene rope obtained by transforming plastic waste deposited in seas and rivers. It is a consistent material, durable and very pleasant to the touch.

Care:
Put the sandals in a mesh bag or inside a pillowcase.
Wash them in the washing machine with cold water, maximum 30oC.
Avoid the spin program.
Dry them directly in the sun.
Save them for us if they are still wet.
If they are very dirty, you can pre-soak them with a few drops of tea tree oil.
